About Sadie
My journey with piano began through a fascination with harmony, structure, and the emotional depth of music. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance followed by a Master of Music in Keyboard Studies. Over the past 11 years, I have taught students of different ages and backgrounds, helping them develop confidence through structured and encouraging instruction. Teaching piano allows me to combine technical precision with artistic expression.
I enjoy guiding students toward both independent musicianship and collaborative performance. My teaching style balances discipline with creativity, ensuring learners develop strong technical skills while exploring musical expression freely. Through personalized instruction and performance preparation, I help students achieve meaningful and steady progress. Every lesson is designed to build confidence, clarity, and enjoyment.
Outside teaching, I continue to perform, study repertoire, and explore different musical traditions. These experiences help me bring depth and variety into my lessons. Watching students grow from beginners into confident musicians is one of the most rewarding parts of my profession. I am dedicated to helping learners develop strong piano skills and a lifelong love for music.

My piano lessons focus on helping students build strong musical foundations while developing expressive and confident playing. I teach finger independence, sight reading, rhythm accuracy, chord understanding, dynamic control, articulation, pedaling technique, and duet performance skills. Students learn how to connect technical ability with musical expression so their playing becomes both accurate and meaningful. Each lesson is structured to ensure steady progress while keeping learning engaging and enjoyable.
Lessons are personalized according to each student’s experience and goals. Beginners focus on note reading, hand coordination, simple rhythms, and basic pieces that build confidence. Intermediate learners strengthen musical phrasing, accompaniment patterns, reading fluency, and expressive control. Advanced students work on interpretation, performance preparation, stylistic understanding, and technical refinement. Students interested in ensemble playing develop collaboration skills, while solo learners focus on independence and artistic expression. Regular feedback helps students improve consistently and with clarity.
