About Elise
I have 10 years of experience teaching piano, supported by a Master of Music in Piano Education and Performance. My passion for piano began with its ability to create both powerful energy and gentle emotion through sound. Over the years, I have guided students of many ages, helping them develop strong technique while also building personal musical confidence. Teaching piano is meaningful because it supports both artistic growth and lifelong creativity.
My teaching style is structured, warm, and encouraging. I focus on helping students understand music deeply rather than simply memorizing notes. Learners receive clear explanation, gentle correction, and motivation that keeps progress steady. I believe piano learning works best when students feel inspired and guided at the right pace. Lessons are always adapted to match each learner’s goals.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged through repertoire exploration, creative teaching methods, and continual musical study. I love watching students grow into confident musicians who enjoy expressing themselves freely. Music becomes a lifelong source of joy. My goal is to guide learners with patience, clarity, and inspiration.

Piano becomes truly exciting when students learn to play with confidence and musical understanding from the start. In my lessons, I focus on helping learners develop finger independence, rhythm stability, reading fluency, and expressive tone control. Students are encouraged to see piano as a creative language, not just a technical task. I create a supportive environment where learners feel comfortable progressing step by step. Piano should feel joyful, inspiring, and achievable for every student.
Each lesson is personalized to match the learner’s level and goals. Beginners focus on posture, hand coordination, simple melodies, and steady rhythm training. Intermediate learners strengthen chord fluency, sight-reading improvement, pedaling technique, and dynamic shaping. Advanced students refine performance preparation, complex repertoire, improvisation confidence, and musical storytelling through phrasing. I include structured practice routines, creative exercises, and consistent feedback to ensure steady progress.
Over time, piano lessons help students build more than musical ability. They develop focus, patience, creativity, and confidence through consistent improvement. Many learners feel proud as they bring music to life with their own playing. Piano becomes a lifelong companion for self-expression. My goal is to guide students toward independence and joy in music.
