About Joshua

I started learning piano and music theory 10 years ago through examiners and teachers when I was 6. I was once a piano student and I am familiar with the process, all the hurdles it takes to learn piano, and how to overcome them and make the process easier and more enjoyable. I have recently graduated from my grade 10 RCM and level 9 music theory. I still enjoy playing the piano every day and helping my brother with his piano songs.
I have more than 90 hours of teaching experience in piano, coding, science, and language.
I enjoy meditating every day and walking on nature trails, it helps me feel peaceful and calm.

About the lesson

From beginner to advanced.
I can teach classical or pop music and help students earn their RCM certificates.
A piano is provided for those who want to learn at my home. Free piano books are provided. If you are a beginner I will first go through the basics of music notes and notation, then I will move on to dynamics and more. You will learn how to sight-read effectively and will use all the skills to learn a new song in almost every class. Technique, scales, and ear training are optional.
I can also teach music theory up to level 6, with 10-20 minutes of the class devoted to music theory, some homework will also be assigned.
If you already have some piano experience I can teach up to level 8 piano (advanced) .

It is a pleasure teaching Arun and his kids. Arun is persistent and has made much progress in just his first few lessons. Arun is always on time for both his attendance and payment. His children are fun to teach and have an amazing attention span for such young kids.

In his roles as an English, Math, and Science Tutor, he was well known for his fantastic ability to explain clearly to younger children and his knowledge of the content he was instructing.
