About Fia
I'm understanding and patient. I love maths and physics. I personally struggled in the learn physics in particular when in high school and it wasn't until studying physics at uoa and applying it to my work that I grasped concepts properly and don't rely on method memorisation - as taught usually by teachers in schools who don't properly understand such concepts.

- I believe it's important to understand the concept of the topic, from there you can think for yourself on how to approach questions and logically approach solving - rather than memorising many different methods.
- Usually I tutor in 1 hour sessions. I'm happy to be flexible on time - I prefer to not go any longer than 2 hours as students will no longer be able to focus well.
- I've tutored a wide range of students (roughly 15 students so far) from primary school to high-school who struggle to learn or focus, have learning disabilities, are advanced in their classes and taking scholarship/ extra-circular classes, etc.
