About Isla

I have been passionate about understanding the laws of the universe since my early school days. I earned a Bachelor’s in Physics and have taught students for 7 years, helping them gain confidence in both conceptual and applied physics. My teaching focuses on clarity, simplicity, and building step-by-step understanding, enabling learners to approach problems logically and effectively.

I use a hands-on approach, incorporating demonstrations, diagrams, and relatable examples. Lessons emphasise active engagement, experimentation, and guided problem-solving, allowing students to develop critical thinking and analytical skills while building strong confidence in physics.

Beyond teaching, I follow advancements in physics, explore experiments, and study scientific developments to keep my lessons relevant and engaging. Teaching physics is deeply rewarding because I witness learners transform curiosity into understanding, challenge themselves with confidence, and gain skills that serve them academically and in life. Seeing students develop clarity, analytical ability, and confidence remains one of the most satisfying aspects of my work.

About the lesson

Physics becomes clear and exciting when learners can connect principles to the real world. My lessons cover classical mechanics, energy, motion, optics, electricity, and magnetism using simple explanations and visual demonstrations. I encourage students to explore ideas actively, ask questions, and think critically about the phenomena around them. Lessons are structured to help learners understand concepts step by step while building problem-solving confidence and analytical thinking skills. Students engage with examples that make theory relatable and practice problems that reinforce understanding.

Lessons are designed to suit learners’ levels. Beginners focus on basic mechanics, motion, and fundamental laws of physics. Intermediate learners explore energy transformations, optics, circuits, and experimental interpretation. Advanced learners study electromagnetism, wave phenomena, and advanced problem-solving. Every session integrates exercises, guided reasoning, and interactive discussions to ensure learners apply concepts confidently and effectively.

Studying physics develops reasoning, analytical ability, and confidence in approaching complex problems. Students gain a structured approach to thinking logically, understanding cause-and-effect, and applying knowledge practically. My aim is to help learners grasp physics concepts thoroughly, see the world with scientific clarity, and cultivate curiosity and problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom into everyday life and academic growth.
