About Katrina
Hi! I'm Kat, I'm in my final year reading Physics and Astronomy at the University of Sussex. Projected 2:1. I come from a half Irish family in London, with 5 nieces (new baby, a toddler, two 5ish year olds and 11 year old who's smarter than me) and 2 nephews.. phew. Education: GCSE:11 A*- C (A*-History, A -Physics) AS Level: C-Chemistry A-Levels: B-Maths, B-Biology, C-Physics Work Experience: Linden Lodge SEN school, Wandsworth (summer scheme) University outreach to local Brighton schools. Mainly my passion is to help demystify STEM and to encourage underprivileged kids not give up. I'm still a student myself and teaching helps me learn, so we can tackle often confusing classical science together!

My methods include teaching science with humour and teaching the history behind a topic, for those times when you just keep asking 'but wwhhyy!'. I use my own notes and resources to create fun and challenging lessons. I love using models to teach science, from Lego to computer models :)
