About Jeremy
I didn't think about physics until my sophomore year of high school when I took my first physics class, but right from the beginning I loved it. My teacher was knowledgeable and showed me and my class how to solve problems and understand the world in a way I hadn't seen before then. I hope to be able to show other people just how fun physics can be.

With physics, I focus on building conceptual knowledge of the topic first, then move on to practice problems to help students quantify their understanding. My approach begins by laying a solid foundation of the fundamental principles and concepts through engaging explanations and visual models, as deeply grasping the qualitative "what" and "why" behind the math is crucial before calculating solutions quantitatively. Once students have a conceptual framework, we transition to working practice problems step-by-step. I guide them through the reasoning process to ensure they comprehend the relevance of each variable and equation. Developing this symbiosis between conceptual and quantitative understanding is paramount, as illustrating the real-world phenomena conceptually, then seeing how to quantify those same ideas mathematically allows students to form deeper encoded memories and build intuition from first principles when wrestling with the underlying concepts numerically.
