About Frederick
I am a physics student who has tutored secondary school students in maths and the sciences during my second year of university. I helped one student attain the grades needed to attend their choice of engineering college in Leeds and another to achieve far better results than their predicted grades for their GCSEs.

Practise is the best way to learn maths so when teaching it, I begin by explaining a new concept to the student, then going through a few problems with them, then letting them go through some problems alone to highlight any problems so I can then explain and fix the problem. With the sciences, I use as many visual aids as possible because if you can see how something works, you will be able to understand it.
