About Maeve
I have just completed my second year studying Physics at Imperial College London, and I am on track for a high 2:1. Before university, I achieved 11A* at GCSE, and 45 points in my IB diploma, (equivalent to 5 A* at A level), which included Maths, Physics, and History at higher level.
Having achieved top marks in my school exams only a few years ago, I have a deep understanding of the knowledge and techniques needed to help others optimise their study time and achieve their best results. I am also patient and good at explaining concepts in different ways in order to accommodate various learning styles.
I have previous experience tutoring and alongside private tutoring, I am currently volunteering with the Coronavirus Teaching Initiative, offering KS3 and GCSE help to those affected by school closures who would not be able to access one-to-one tutoring otherwise.

The first lesson will be a free diagnostic lesson where I can get to know more about you and your needs.
From there, we can schedule more sessions tailored to your needs, usually weekly covering the main syllabus points for your specific exam.
After each session I find it is beneficial to set a small amount of homework, which is usually some practice questions covering the content from that week's session, so that you can consolidate and check your understanding.
