About Yastheer
I am a physics post graduate student. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics, as well as an Honours degree in Physics. I am currently doing my Masters in Physics. I am capable in mathematics, especially in methods to solve differential equations, complex analysis as well as most topics covered in first year mathematics. I have a good working knowledge of school level mathematics. I can also assist with first year classical mechanics, classical optics and introductory modern physics.

In my experience, I have only provided lessons on a one to one basis. In my first meeting with the student, I look to establish what the student does and does not know. I look at what the student's syllabus covers, and find out what they are confident in and what they lack. Thereafter I begin lessons, and the lessons follow the student's syllabus. I explain the topics which the student requests help for, and i set homework problems for the student to apply the knowledge I teach to them. I also set problems based on the topics which the student is confident in to evaluate how well they do, and to get a feel for what they actually know.
