About Jacob
After tutoring Physics for 2 years at Southwestern University, I have learned some of the most effective techniques to not only properly convey a technique for solving the most unintuitive of problems, but I have formulated plenty of techniques to help students remember what to do when faced with tough problems.

Why does the soil change color from location to location? Why is ice so slippery? Why do tornados happen? Discovering the answer to these questions is only the beginning of an investigation into the natural sciences with a one on one tutoring session with me! In asking questions, I hope students: become curious enough to ask more questions, and learn more about their academic subject matter as a result. Some answers might be a Google search away, but my goal as a tutor is to help students understand how to read such academic resources without misinterpretationwhich might otherwise go unrecognized by the student, and to briefly discuss the historical impact of the discoveries in question in order to display the wonder of, and beauty of learning, modern science.
