About Shaula
Up until the pandemic began, I taught physics practical classes and marked lab reports at a university. I've been involved in teaching practical meteorology at university in the past as well. I'm currently a PhD student specialising in low frequency underwater acoustics, and have a Masters in Geophysics, so my strength lies within Earth and Ocean Science.

Sessions will be informal - we'll start with a chat about what your expectations and goals are, and we'll go step by step from there. I generally work on the principle of if you understand a physical or mathematical concept, you'll never have to remember it (no fear of drawing blanks in exams!).
I have an MSci in Geophysics, and I'm coming towards the end of my PhD in underwater acoustics (Physics). If you're after help with a university-level concept or piece of work, drop me a detailed message of what you need, and I'll get back to you ASAP to let you know if I can help or not. Please note, I will not write essays or dissertations for you.

I ask to be paid at the beginning of the lesson, and will not charge if you cancel 24 hours before the lesson is due to take place.
If you want undergraduate level tutoring, I will alter the rate depending on how well I know the topic, how much research I need to do, etc. But in this case please do not hesitate to contact me, and we can have a discussion about your needs and prices. I may also be able to recommend a different tutor if I feel they better suit your needs.
