About Hamad

I have a PhD in Physics and work in scientific research, where solving problems, analysing data and explaining complicated ideas are a big part of what I do.
I’ve also had experience working with students and supporting people as they develop their scientific and technical skills.
Most importantly, I enjoy seeing that moment when something that seemed difficult suddenly clicks.
Whether you’re struggling with the basics, preparing for an important exam, trying to improve your grades, or simply want more confidence in Physics or Maths, I’d be happy to help.

About the lesson

Finding Physics or Maths difficult? Or maybe you understand the topic in class, but when you see an exam question, you’re not sure where to start?
That’s something I can help with.
I’m a PhD-qualified physicist, and I really enjoy helping students understand subjects that can sometimes seem complicated or confusing. My approach is simple: break things down, explain them clearly, and then work through problems together until they start to make sense.
I offer GCSE and A-Level Physics and Maths tuition, with lessons adapted to each student. Everyone learns differently, so I don’t believe in using exactly the same approach with every student.

One of the advantages of my background is that I’m very comfortable with the mathematics behind Physics. If you find that the maths is making Physics difficult, I can help you build both sides of that understanding rather than treating them as completely separate subjects. How I teach
I don’t want you to simply memorise formulae and hope they work in the exam.
Instead, I like to explain why something works, show you how to approach a problem, and then let you have a go yourself. If you make a mistake, that’s absolutely fine — we use it to work out what went wrong and how to avoid it next time.
I’ll adjust the pace depending on what you need. If a topic needs more explanation, we slow down. If you’re comfortable with it, we move on and challenge you with harder questions.
