About Annalise
My journey in physics began with a strong curiosity about how invisible forces and measurable laws govern the universe. This curiosity guided me toward earning a B.Sc in Physics and later an M.Sc in Theoretical Physics, where I developed a deep appreciation for abstract reasoning and mathematical modeling. Over 14 years of teaching, I have worked with students from diverse academic backgrounds, helping them transform uncertainty into understanding through patient and structured guidance.
I strongly believe that physics should never feel intimidating. Many students struggle not because of lack of ability, but because concepts are introduced without proper explanation or pacing. I take time to build understanding carefully, ensuring learners grasp fundamental ideas before moving forward. My teaching emphasizes clarity, encouragement, and logical progression, allowing students to rebuild confidence even after past difficulties.
Beyond teaching, I continue exploring physics through academic reading, simulations, and problem analysis. This ongoing engagement keeps my explanations current and meaningful. Teaching physics is deeply fulfilling to me because I witness students grow intellectually and emotionally, developing trust in their own reasoning abilities. Supporting this growth remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my professional life.

Physics lessons are structured to help students understand not just how formulas work, but why they exist. I guide learners through mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, magnetism, optics, and modern physics by connecting mathematical expressions with physical meaning. Concepts are introduced gradually, supported by diagrams, analogies, and structured reasoning so students develop clarity rather than confusion.
Beginners focus on foundational ideas, units, vectors, and basic laws through guided explanation. Intermediate learners strengthen their problem-solving accuracy, multi-step calculations, and interpretation of physical situations. Advanced learners work on derivations, complex numerical problems, and exam-focused analytical strategies. Each lesson includes practice, reflection, and corrective guidance to reinforce learning.
