About Ambar
I'm a mother of a 4yo girl; we were both born and raised in Puerto Rico. We moved to Michigan last year so I could start a graduate degree in Experimental
Nuclear Physics.
Throughout my studies, I've done research related to neural networks, accelerator measurements, design and commissioning of detection systems,
first principle calculations and material science. My Masters thesis aims to propose a system to perform electron elastic scattering off rare
isotopes at my university's accelerator complex; the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams.
I like learning, and spending time with family and friends.

I like to first learn about what has been presented to the student, gauge their level of understanding. Once I feel confident I know what they are struggling with, I proceed to use diagrams and analogies to explain what a mathematical/computer/physics problem is asking for and how to solve it.
