About Derek
I am currently entering my third year at MIT having already completed their undergraduate physics curriculum with flying colors. I am now focusing on graduate level material and physics research (I have produced a pre-print paper in astrophysics alongside another that I am in the process of wrapping up, as well as work in MIT's Center for Ultracold Atoms, where my research focuses on Bose-Einstein condensates and degenerate Fermi gases.

I usually like to take notes on an iPad while discussing over Zoom or a similar communication platform. I usually introduce the subject of confusion and try to give a simple or logical explanation to make sure some general understanding of the subject. This makes individual questions much easier. After walking through or assisting in some example problems, I like to wrap up with some problem solving techniques that are applicable to similar questions for the student's benefit on exams.
Lessons are for any high school or college undergraduate level course (including classical mechanics, electricity & magnetism, quantum mechanics, and statistical mechanics).
