About Precious
My educational journey begins as a state school student in year 9 when I decided to take my studies more seriously, I registered to do 4 International GCSEs (IGCSEs) in year 10 and did my remaining GCSEs in year 11. Applied to a grammar sixth form where I studied 4 A- levels alongside preparing university applications. I managed to achieve 4 A*s and an offer for physical natural sciences from Cambridge University.
During my time at secondary school and sixth form, I never felt I had access to the same resources as my classmates, so I always strove to be ahead content-wise to make up for it. The mindset of pushing yourself to always be one step ahead of others and to want to succeed in education for yourself is what I want to instil in my students. Not to learn for the sake of learning or catching up but to learn because they want to, because they understand its importance for their futures and because they want to test their limits. I am grateful to my teachers for showing me the joy in learning, simply put, I want to give back to the community that gave to me.
