About David
I want to teach so that I can inspire future generations with the passion I have for maths, physics and music. I'm approaching retirement but in no great rush to stop. There are far too many interesting challenges in my day job and I work with a bunch of 20-somethings who keep me on my toes.

I am a working physicist with a strong interest in education, having been doing face-to-face tutoring for many years in my spare time. I am always keen to emphasise fundamental understanding rather than just knowledge. Also to inspire students to learn how to learn.
