About Kanvi

Hello! I’m Kanvi, a dedicated and experienced tutor with a strong academic background in physics and several years of hands-on teaching experience. I’ve supported students from a wide range of abilities, helping them grow in confidence and achieve their academic goals in maths and physics. Having worked my way up from tutor to Centre Manager at a leading tuition centre, I understand how to engage students, identify their learning needs, and deliver lessons that are both effective and enjoyable. I take pride in creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. About the lesson

As a physics graduate with over three years of tutoring experience, I tailor each lesson to suit the individual needs of my students. I believe in building strong foundations by breaking down complex topics into simple, relatable concepts, using real-world examples and visual aids to make learning more engaging. I typically begin each session with a quick recap to identify any gaps, followed by focused problem-solving and active questioning to build confidence and deepen understanding. I also help students develop effective study techniques and exam strategies to improve their performance independently. Lessons usually last 60 minutes, with flexibility based on the student's needs. I have worked with a wide range of learners aged 10–18, from those looking to catch up to those aiming for top grades at GCSE and A-Level. My experience as a Lead Instructor and Centre Manager at a well-established tuition centre has given me valuable insight into how to support students of all abilities. Whether you're aiming to boost your grades, prepare for exams, or simply gain confidence in maths or physics, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
