About Thasneem

Hello there! I'm Tas! How lovely to meet you! I'm a Lead Data Engineer working for a climate tech start-up company for my day job and I love it. I have a first class degree in Molecular Physics with Chemistry from Imperial College London, and a further master's (MPhil) degree in Computational Materials Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Because of my numerate background, I'd also love to help children reach their potential, and help tutor you with any help you may need with your GCSE and AS/A level maths, chemistry and/or physics! I love these subjects and would love to help you to understand them a lot better if you have any questions or concerns around concepts or if there's anything you're not too familiar with!

About the lesson

My teaching technique is very much based off of the content which the student wishes to study. I will go over the basics and do a recap of the concepts, leaving the floor completely free for the student to ask questions at any point. I will encourage that we go through past exam questions too along the way! Typical length of a lesson is anywhere between 50 mins - 1 hour. My qualifications: I have a first class MSci degree in Molecular Physics with Chemistry from Imperial College London, and an MPhil degree in Computational Materials Engineering from the University of Cambridge. I have been tutoring and helping children with GCSE concepts for a very long time! My lessons are for GCSE students, and students preparing for their GCSE exams who wish to get some extra help to help understand and cover concepts for their exams
