About Dan
I have taught elementary students, tutored physics when in college. After graduating medical school and during residency I taught medical students in New York. Teaching has been a part of my life, even my mother was my sixth grade teacher many moons ago! I can make learning fun and engaging because that's what it can be at it's best no matter what the subject or how hard it is!

I enjoy tutoring because I seek that moment when a child understands materials they had a road block on previously. I like to review a lesson and give examples with active didactic teaching throughout a lesson. I have the most experience with mathematics and sciences for elementary and middle school students. I have a medical doctorate and still practice but want to do something outside of medicine and I truly enjoy teaching!
