I tutor students in the Great Books, Classics, philosophy, theology, logic, and academic writing across the humanities. With a background in philosophy and theology and graduate work in the Great Books, I help students develop clear thinking and clear writing through close reading, logical structure, and Socratic dialogue. My sessions focus on understanding ideas deeply, forming strong arguments, and expressing complex insights in precise, polished prose.
I also offer guidance in Bible study preparation, using historical context, literary analysis, and theological interpretation to help students approach Scripture with academic rigor. Whether you’re working on an essay, studying a classic text, or strengthening your reasoning skills, I provide a framework that improves comprehension, writing, and communication in every area of the humanities.
