About Cerys
Hi I'm Cerys! I have studied Philosophy, Ethics and Religion to undergraduate level at Canterbury Christ Church University. As Philosophy directly translates into 'the love of wisdom', this has certainly been my experience with studying the subject. From reading the original texts, interpreting them and debating them, it is definitely a subject area I am completely passionate about when it comes to learning and teaching it!

Typically an initial consultation would help me identify the needs and requirements for the student and allow me to personalise the teaching methods to reach the required needs.
Commonly from my tutoring you could expect overviews and explanations of subjects that challenge the student, quizzes to help solidify knowledge and reviews of class work to help improve skills and techniques in philosophy, ethics, religion or theology. We would work on visual aids to help knowledge retention such as mind-maps, que cards, and the use of colour and images during notetaking.
The typical length of the lesson would be either 30 minutes, an hour or two hours depending on preferences and needs.
