About Ethan
I am a philosophy student and a formal logic teaching assistant at the University of Victoria interested in formal logic and analytic philosophy. I am currently in the process of publishing my work in UVic's undergraduate journal. Although my passion is philosophy, I am a strong writer and can teach the writing skills needed for university. I have two years of experience working as a math tutor during my time in high school, as well as experience working with youth and children at Seymour Mountain summer camps.

Experienced with philosophy, logic, and rhetoric, I am confident in my ability to teach the technical writing and critical thinking skills required for university.
Typical high-school English lessons focus on learning the essay structure expected for university applications and university-level undergraduate courses.
Formal logic courses focus on first-order logic systems, quantifiers, and proofs, as well as building the vocabulary and knowledge to understand technical analytic philosophy.
