About Matthew
I am an undergraduate student in my first year at UCL. I have taught before; on my gap year I taught music theory and classroom music to secondary school pupils, and English and German to refugees in Athens, so I have a wealth of experience.

German
My teaching method is different depending on the subject I am teaching. For German, I would try and conduct as much of the lesson in German as possible, but use English to explain complex grammar points to ensure that the student understands these. For Philosophy, I would base the class around discussion, offering viewpoints to the student and probing their opinions, to elicit considered and justified beliefs.
