About Grant
Hi! I’m Grant, a PhD candidate at the University of Graz, specializing in International Law & Policy. I hold a master’s degree in European Studies and a dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Classical Studies. My academic journey has not only equipped me with deep knowledge across multiple disciplines but also allowed me to develop a passion for helping others excel in academic writing and critical thinking.
I have extensive experience as an academic writing tutor at two major universities— the University of California, Riverside, and the University of Regensburg, Germany. My role involved helping students develop strong arguments, structure their papers effectively, and refine their writing to meet academic standards. Whether guiding students through research papers, essays, or creative pieces, I take pride in ensuring that my students not only improve their writing but also gain confidence in their ability to express their ideas clearly and persuasively.
In addition to my work in academic writing, I have over two years of experience teaching English as a second language to learners of all ages, from 10 to 65 years old. I’ve taught both one-on-one and small group classes, always tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each student. I believe that learning should be engaging, and I strive to make every session interactive and enjoyable, while still focusing on results.

I can’t recommend Grant enough as an online political science teacher! His teaching style is super engaging and makes complicated topics in European and American politics really easy to understand.
