About Krista
I'm a PhD student with a masters in Therapy. I love working with students as a teacher and a mentor. When it comes to lecturing, I am passionate and love to help students learn to apply their knowledge. As an academic, I am curious and love engaging the curiosity of others. Finally, as a therapist I am compassionate and patient and find joy in helping increase self-efficacy.

As a teacher, I believe learning happens through a variety of methods. Learning is so much more than flashcards and definitions and by applying information to our every day we can move beyond facts toward higher level thinking! Learning is also about skills and knowing how you best learn. I can help students find that part of their selves and engage with learning in a new way. I'm looking to tutor high school and college students!
