About Sara
I am a graduate student in a PhD program studying sociology and statistics. From a young age I enjoyed teaching others, and have worked at tutoring nonprofits, as a private tutor, and as teaching assistant and university tutor. I enjoy helping students not only grasp difficult material but also gain confidence in their math and problem-solving skills.

I tailor each tutoring session to the individual student. For younger students, I try to incorporate engaging games or puzzles to make content more interesting. For older students, I focus on building the specific skills needed to succeed in school exams and standardized tests. If needed, I also provide students with concrete methods or worksheets to enable them to continue to practice areas where they struggle between our tutoring sessions.
