About Zhuoqi
Helping others succeed has always brought great joy to me. I'm currently pursuing a PhD degree in engineering, but I still love math very much. I treat all my students with respect and patience and will create a safe space where students can comfortably ask questions. I also tutored math in my undergraduate career, where I studied both mathematics and biomedical engineering, and my students all had confidence in my abilities as a tutor. Many students find mathematics difficult due to problem solving. Give a man a fish and he will have food for the day, but teach a man to fish and he will have food for life. My goal is to teach students how to tackle math problems and how to think through each problem so that they can apply these strategies to other problems, not only in math, but also in sciences, and in life :)

I believe in hands-on experience when it comes to mathematics. As your tutor, I will first learn what topics you are struggling with and need help on. I will set up a lesson plan that involves review of concepts as well as guided problem solving, where I go through how I tackle and dissect a problem. My lessons are fit for students of any level.
