About Elizabeth
I am a first year PhD student at the University of Birmingham in the Engineering Department. I have a first class degree in Physics from Nottingham Trent University and am looking to tutor Physics (A-Level & GCSE) and Mathematics (GCSE).
I have previously worked in high schools teaching Science classes between years 7 to 11 and A-Level Physics to years 12-13. Prior to undertaking the PhD I had been intending to complete a PGCE - this is something I am still considering after my PhD has finished as I particularly enjoy teaching science to young people.
I am a patient and kind tutor who hopes to bring out the confidence in each student's abilities. Mathematics and Physics are often seen as inaccesible subjects and I would work to help change that and provide my student the skills and knowledge to succeed.
