I have a master's degree in public health and am currently a PhD candidate in health policy at UCLA. I have a middle school teaching certificate. I want to make this experience as enjoyable and fruitful for you, so I'll work with you to set learning goals and adjust to your learning style. With my experience teaching elementary, middle, and undergraduate students, I am able to shift my lessons to all ability levels and adjust based on a student's individual needs. I like to follow the "I do, we do, you do" model to demonstrate, guide, and then evaluate a student's learning, and I also like to bring in applied activities that will keep students engaged and get them excited about the content.
