About Samuel
I am a PhD student at the University of Sheffield working on space plasmas. My research is heavily mathematics based and also contains fundamental aspects of physics and fluid mechanics. I have a masters degree in astrophysics and love to share my knowledge that I have learned in the past and still continue to learn today.
Having experience as both an Undergraduate and Postgraduate student I have built up techniques to tutor people with a wide range of underlying knowledge and I am confident to apply the best strategy to help people learn new and potentially difficult concepts.

I approach each topic by understanding which level the student is at in terms of their background knowledge with the subject. Having being at the stage myself of having very little background knowledge with complex subjects, this allows me to determine which teaching strategy is best for them and allow them to learn new ideas and problem solving methods as easily as possible.
I am looking to help students with Maths/Physics at any level below undergraduate degree (i.e. GCSE, Alevel)
