About Tayla
Hi there! My name is Tayla, and I am a PhD student and Trust Scholar at the University of Cambridge. I hold Bachelor of Arts (Hons. I) with a double major in archaeology and ancient history, as well as a Master's by Research degree. I have a strong record of academic excellence, and have been the recipient of numerous awards, including a University Medal, a prestigious travelling scholarship, and various research grants. Outside of my studies, I love to row, hike, and bake.

I have experience teaching both groups and individuals at University level, and have previously conducted independent tutorials for high school students. As a warm and approachable individual, I aim to help my students reach their full academic potential by building their confidence in a supportive environment. I love teaching and pedagogy, and can tailor my advice to suit diverse needs and learning capacities. I am happy to tutor University students, as well as younger students undertaking GCSE/A Level studies. Relevant topics include ancient history, archaeology, anthropology, sociology, gender studies, etc.
