About Eric
Hello! My name is Eric--I am currently a PhD/MS student in philosophy and physics at the University of Illinois, Chicago. I have a passion for teaching that I have acquired over years of pursuing academics and helping my peers that I put to use on superprof.
My goal with teaching new students is to find a way to get them excited about the material that they are learning--this strategy has helped me through many difficult courses, so I am always eager to use it for the benefit of others. In my lessons, I like to begin by assessing the student for their particular needs, including how they like to learn and what makes them learn best, as well as assessing any patterns they may have for work that they get stuck on. Using this information, I created an individualized plan for each student. Because I have a varied educational background, I use tactics and skills from different fields to create a unique and effective learning environment for each student.
