I rely heavily on the socratic method of teaching for my sessions. My view is that a tutor is meant to help you think and teach you how to learn within their field of expertise. By relying on question driven learning and discussions rather than lecture, my students learn to think like a biologist and leave with the tools necessary to solve new problems independently.
I am unique as a tutor because I have received multiple awards for my research in these fields. I am an expert in bacteriology, cell biology, and molecular genetics with 4 research publications across these fields.
My lessons are tailored to my students and therefore any level is welcome. The only requirement is a good work ethic and interest in biology.
