About Onyeka

Hello everyone! With over ten years of teaching mathematics and statistics, I've seen firsthand how challenging these subjects can be. That's why my mission as a PhD student at the Federal University of Lafia is to transform the learning experience. I use practical demonstrations and teaching aids to bring abstract ideas to life. In my classroom, we don't just solve problems; we actively engage with them through hands-on practice and interactive discussions. My classroom is a safe space for you to learn, make mistakes, and build the confidence you need to succeed. I am here to guide you every step of the way.

About the lesson

My teaching method and techniques involve practical demonstration of key concepts, use of teaching aids, interactive class sessions, hands-on practicals and examples, and also evaluation of students' understanding. LESSON PLAN Topic: Function and types of function Duration: 1hr Class: high school and early college students Objectives: by the end of this lesson, students should be able to: I. Define and explain what is meant by a function II. solve mathematical problems involving functions III. Identify the types of functions Materials: Textbook, Charts, marker and board. Introduction: the tutor introduces the lessons by explaining introductory concepts like, Set, Set notation, Elements (members) of a set and so on. Presentation: Step1 Define and explain what is meant by a Function. A function is a set of rules that assigns to an element 'a' of set A, a unique element 'b' in set B. Step 2. Examples 1. If 2x^{2} is a function where x ={1,2,4,6}, what is the range and codomain? 2. Find the range and codomain of the function 2sinx for (x:-4
