About James
As an Academic Associate at Nottingham Trent University, I am privileged to be entrusted with delivering Labs and Seminars in exercise physiology. I deliver these sessions, alongside carrying out my own PhD studies, where I am part of the respiratory research team. Since the start of the Academic Year, I have been able to indulge my passion for teaching this subject and have helped students to realise their potential in physiology. I have previously worked as a pt and as an exercise physiologist for some well known companies and have a wealth of experience when it comes to helping people reach their goals.

I am a kinaesthetic learner which means I learn best by doing. In whatever I teach, I believe it is important to keep instruction brief, clear and to the point as this allows my students greater opportunity to practice the skills themselves. I enjoy bringing theory learnt by my students in lectures to an applied setting in the labs and seminars an am a big believer in reinforcing information this way.
