About Andrea

I am a 25-year-old Spanish woman who has been living in Cambridge for a year. I did a master's degree in Data Science here and this year I am starting my PhD studies in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics.
Before this master's degree, I studied a double degree in Mathematics and Physics at the University of Cantabria, Spain.

In addition to being a student, I was a handball player and for four years I have led teams of boys and girls of many ages (from 8 to 16 years old).

I have been giving private lessons in mathematics and physics for five years.

I have a flexible schedule and don't mind changing hours each week (as long as there is availability) to accommodate my students' needs.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on helping and supporting students throughout their classes. During class, students complete the homework assigned by their teachers (only the exercises where they have questions). They then complete further assignments I suggest, always tailored to the student's level and based on the same topic taught in class.
With younger students, I really like to suggest games where they can learn and lay the foundations of the subject, always through fun.
I also use this method with older students whenever there is time.
