About Marissa
I have 4 years of experience tutoring students in personal and group settings in math, computer science, chemistry, and biology, including teaching my own biochemistry coding course at Johns Hopkins University.
My teaching philosophy is to foster a sense of genuine excitement and interest in my students so that they can excel beyond their time tutoring with me!

I am flexible with my lessons, but typically I meet with students once or twice a week from 0.5-2 hours per lesson
Pricing is flexible as well, and I would like to provide tutoring to all students regardless of economic status. I believe $15-100 / hour is reasonable
I prefer to meet in person, but can do Zoom if necessary as well.
Typically I will have students bring work from their classes for the first lesson so that I can gain an understanding of what they are working on. After the first lesson, I can continue working on students with their schoolwork, or I can create my own material if they do not have schoolwork to do.
