About Manjinder
Welcome! If you’re curious, motivated, and excited to learn how technology is shaping the world — you’re in the right place. I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Edge Computing and Deep Learning, where I study how to make AI faster, smarter, and more efficient by running it directly on everyday devices like phones, cameras, and sensors. But more than the technical side, I’m passionate about sharing knowledge and learning together. Whether you have a background in computer science, engineering, or you’re just beginning to explore how AI works — my goal is to help you understand complex ideas in a clear, practical, and engaging way. We’ll explore real-world problems, build smart systems, and most importantly, grow your confidence to think critically and solve challenges creatively. I believe every student brings a unique perspective, and I’m excited to help you discover yours. Let’s learn, build, and shape the future — together.

Have you ever thought about how your phone unlocks with your face, or how smartwatches track your health in real time? Behind the scenes, that’s made possible by something called Edge Computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI) — the focus of my PhD research. In simple terms, edge computing means bringing smart technology closer to where data is collected — like phones, cameras, or sensors — instead of always relying on distant cloud servers. This makes things faster, more secure, and more efficient. My research helps make AI models smaller and smarter, so they can run even on tiny devices — without needing constant internet. What excites me most is how this technology can be used in healthcare, education, the environment, and everyday life. Whether you love science, design, solving problems, or even storytelling — there’s a place for you in this growing field. No matter what you’re studying, I encourage you to stay curious, ask questions, and explore how technology can improve the world around us. I’d love to share more and learn from you too — because innovation happens when we think together.
