About Mohamed
I'm 22 years old, and I do a PhD in physical chemistry/nuclear magnetic resonance studying exotic quantum states that have transformative implications for the future of MRI. I have a 1st Class BSc degree in pharmaceutical science. I have also done some mathematical research into continued fractions. My familiarity with chemistry/maths/physics is intimate and far beyond what most students require.
I've previously tutored students (from the primary to uni level) in anywhere from a house, to library, to university lab/classroom setting. Most of my lessons have been in chemistry and maths. I often get feedback along the lines of "wow, I didn't know it was this easy!" Everyone I have taught - whether it was a 10 year old struggling with fractions or an engineering student stumped bypartial differential equations - has aced their exams or assignments.

I have a very relaxed teaching style, and try to focus on tackling any areas of difficulty (or anxiety) that a student has. Everything is tailored to the specific student's needs and done in a pragmatic and streamlined way.
I am a strong believer in teaching via perspective as opposed to the approach of "brute force" repetition - in my experience, the best solution to a difficult topic is to look at it from the right angle. Unfortunately, math/chemistry/physics are typically taught in a needlessly complicated way that exasperates students. I try to emulate my PhD supervisor, who can faithfully explain difficult quantum mechanical concepts in the language of a 5 year old!
