About Dr Muhammad
I am a PhD-qualified Mathematics teacher with 18 years of teaching experience. I currently teach Mathematics and Physics at Cambridge Education Group in London, mainly supporting international students on Undergraduate Foundation Programmes. I also work as a GCSE Mathematics examiner, so I understand what examiners expect and how students can improve their answers and gain higher marks.
Over the years, I have taught students at many different levels, including GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, Further Mathematics, foundation programmes and university mathematics. I have also worked as Head of Mathematics for more than 10 years.
I am a friendly and patient teacher, and I always try to make my students feel comfortable asking questions. For me, the most rewarding part of teaching is seeing a student overcome their difficulties, become more confident and start enjoying mathematics. I always give my full support to help every student achieve the best result they possibly can.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I plan my lessons according to each student’s level, needs and goals. I always try to explain difficult mathematical concepts in a simple and friendly way, using clear examples and step-by-step methods.
During my lessons, we work on understanding the topic, solving exam-style questions, practising past papers and improving exam technique. I regularly check progress and focus on any areas where the student needs extra support.
I teach GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, Further Mathematics, International and Undergraduate Foundation Programmes, as well as university-level mathematics. Whether a student is struggling with maths or aiming for the highest grades, my goal is to build their confidence and help them achieve their full potential.
