About Ekramul
I am currently a Sessional Instructor at the University of Calgary, where I teach Economic Geography with a focus on spatial economic systems and regional development. Previously, I taught Climate Finance at Bard College (New York) and Business Strategy and Finance at BRAC Business School, where I also served as Assistant Professor and Director of Executive Education & Industry Outreach. I hold a Ph.D. (Sustainability Stream) from the University of Louisville, an MBA, and a Master in Environmental Management.

My pedagogical philosophy is based on my belief that Learning should be "fun." By "fun," I don't imply that learning should lack rigor. On the contrary, my primary goal remains the academic excellence of my students, focusing on deepening their knowledge, honing their skills, and fostering critical thinking.
