About Megan
Hi! I am a lover of all things literacy! From tiny kiddos to grownups, I love helping people love to read and write. I am a professor of education, teaching teachers how to teach reading and writing!My doctoral degree is in language and literacy from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. I have three children of my own, all who love to read and write too! I hope I can be of assistance to you!

As a professor, I come to the reading and writing process from a broad perspective. Both reading and writing involve much more than sounding out. Using what we know about how language works and what is available, we can become lovers of literacy.
