About Baylee
I am a sessional lecturer in Art History and Visual Studies at the University of Victoria (UVic). I also work as a learning strategist and tutor with the Learning Assistance Program at UVic. I received my PhD in History of Art from the University College London in March 2025 and have been working in accessible education for over a decade.

I take a growth mindset to my work with students. You are a student because you are learning and each assignment is an opportunity to develop your skills. I use research-based approaches and my experience as a university lecturer to help students navigate the shift to university-level work.
Each session is about what works best for each individual student. We could talk about your plan for the week, work through a difficult essay together, or break down large projects into manageable pieces. We could also focus on a specific course to advance your understanding of a topic from within my scope (Art History, Gender Studies, English, History).
