About Khadidja
I have been a teacher since my early 20s . I started giving Arabic lessons since 1981 to American students in Seattle while they taught me English in a private school and at an individual bases.
I also held (mid 1980s-2000) small classes for Arab American children in various states.
As a graduate student, at the University of Florida, I was teaching Arabic language and Arab cultures classes (2005-2011).
Many of my students had the opportunity to grasp the language well and used it in their future jobs as diplomats, military analysts, lawyers and social scientists. I can't forget many of my students who became fluent in Arabic able to travel abroad and use their language skills to converse, live and work among Arabic speakers.

A doctorate degree (University of Florida) in anthropology researching the colonial ancounter in Algeria. A Masters degree comparing language change among Algerian emigrants in France and the USA.
A license de biologie (Algeria) to teach high school science (in Arabic) and a bachelor degree in anthropology (USA).
My philosophy in teaching is to keep the excitement on both sides. As a successful teacher I have the experience to teach various levels of studens. In my teaching method I'm constantly focused taking into account my students' abilities to grasp linguistics and cultural aspects of the lesson. Culture is part of teaching language which makes me and my students relaxed enjoying every moment of the lesson of the day. As a child, growing up in Algeria, it was my primary Arabic teacher from Syria who planted the love of this language and learning in general in my heart to remain alive, grow and flourish by giving back to my fellow human being.
