About Lya
I really enjoy teaching. I started my career teaching English in 1996. In 2010, I graduated in Letters with a major in Latin Language and Literature at the at the University of São Paulo, where I developed my Masters and Phd. I am currently developing a post-doctoral research and undergraduate course in Greek and Portuguese at the same institution. Needless to say, I am passionate about literature and grammar! It will be a pleasure to share my knowledge with you!

The language course follows the Learning Latin (Cambridge) method, text and grammar. Each section of the Latin text has a parallel section in the grammar workbook, with vocabulary, gramatical explanations and exercises. Average length: 6 semesters, 4 hours per week.
The Literature classes are for all levels. No prior knowledge of Latin is required. Courses on Augustan poetry.
