About Zephyr

Hi there! My name is Zephyr! I am a Physical Chemistry Ph.D. student. I received my Bachelor of Science in both Mathematics and Chemistry in May 2020 and my Masters in Chemistry in June 2023. I am currently working on my Master's in Physics as well as my Ph.D. in Chemistry.

I started tutoring in 2016 and have been teaching college classes since 2018. I have always been passionate about education. Helping students understand the complex intricacies of chemistry, math, and physics inspires me to learn more about the world!

I understand how difficult these topics can be and will make every effort to bring clarity and relevance to our work together. If you are looking for a tutor who invests in you, I believe I am the right person! I have a rich background in education and was asked to run our college labs as an undergraduate student and have been doing that ever since, so for about five years now!

About the lesson

Are you having a tough time with chemistry, physics, or math? You are not alone! I teach multiple classes of students every quarter and utilize a research-driven and personalized approach to help you gain a strong understanding of the material. I have a BS in Chemistry, a BS in Mathematics, and an MS in Chemistry. I am currently pursuing an MS in Physics along with my Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry!

My approach is unique in that I prefer to see the material you are studying beforehand to make sure I provide you with the best service before our meeting. I am a very relationally driven person and am passionate about scientific content and find so much joy in helping my peers with this material! Chemistry, math, and physics are hard subjects! I know from firsthand experience just how difficult these can be.

I will construct a detailed lesson plan that encapsulates the material, background information on the subject, and incorporates proper as well as relevant practice just for you! I look forward to learning about your work and how I can help!
