About Rishi
I’m a PhD-qualified Chemist and Chemical Biologist with over 15 years of teaching and research experience. I’ve held senior leadership roles across pharma, biotech, and academia, and worked as a Visiting Scientist at Imperial College London, with several peer-reviewed publications and patents to my name. My passion lies in helping students truly understand Chemistry and Biology — not just memorise facts, but think like scientists. I bring an engaging, structured, and results-driven approach to every lesson, focusing on building confidence through clear explanations, guided problem-solving, and exam-style practice. Teaching Approach My lessons are engaging, structured, and results-driven, designed to build confidence and competence. I begin by identifying each student’s strengths and weaknesses, then tailor a focused plan to reinforce understanding, close knowledge gaps, and strengthen exam technique. I combine clear explanations with problem-solving practice to help students think critically and apply concepts effectively. Lesson Format Sessions typically last one hour, but duration and frequency can be adapted to individual goals and learning pace. Lessons are delivered online or in-person (London), with flexible scheduling to suit each student. Experience & Qualifications I’m a leader in Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and patents. Over the past 15 years, I’ve taught GCSE, A Level, and university students across a range of exam boards. At degree level, I’ve taught and collaborated with top institutions including the Imperial College London, University of Bath, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Strathclyde.
