About Ruoyu
My name is Ruoyu Chu, a PhD student studying in the School of Chemical Engineering. Currently I would stay on the St. Lucia campus for PhD journey. I enjoy guiding young students to make progress, which also makes me feel happy.

As for the career development, I prefer to choose the academic environment. I have the necessary skills to work in proficiency on technology and computer literacy, including email communication, basic AV equipment operation, and online form completion. Last semester I also got the chance to work as Casual Academic for tutorial on Introduction to Environmental Engineering (CIVL 2135). I am a team player that willing to organize and talk with students under diverse culture, and I also have the experience to maintain a healthy classroom environment. The effective communication method is quite important for interact with students and staff in the university, which is this job needs. My physical fitness and mental agility is also well enough to maintain exam support duties while standing or walking for extended periods.
